Obviously I try to keep constant villager production but I am also confused how they should be split up because in brood war its simply minerals and gas. All I really know to do so far is the basic dark age start with the boars, wood, and granary timings but thats obviously not enough as I don't know exactly when I should switch to feudal and when to go castle especially in a 1v1 where players tend to harass and fight early. I'm starting to play just random on Arabia now as I realized black forest is just a chokepoint map where people just build a wall and mass eco.
I started just trying some 1v1s here on black forest and some players I won against easily because you can just tell how bad they are at micro and macro but players that have a plan and a build usually destroy me. I am a former high apm brood war player that played at a decently high level but I need some help here.
